Samantha Kaye (M-F Mornings) 7 to 10 AM
I'm a Chicago Cubs fan which sums me up pretty well. I'm loyal, passionate and an eternal optimist. I'm actually a big sports fan, in general and believe it or not I am even in a NASCAR Fantasy League. Don't judge me- I'm from the mid-west! :) The real reason I'm here is to follow Kyle Orton with his sweet mustache and sexy neckbeard (JUST KIDDING).
I love music. I have a great appreciation for singer/songwriters and a soft spot for anything that rocks. I sing a lot and really loud, but only in my car.
I'm pretty easy going, I laugh a lot (mostly at myself), I'm a little crazy, and I do everything fast.
I love the DVR and I seriously watch way too much TV. I think "The Office" is the greatest show ever. Other favorites include: Heroes, The Simpson's, and Gossip Girl (XOXO)
I started my radio career in Chicago as a promotions assistant, worked my way up to an overnight board-operator (pushing buttons and watching re-runs of the X-Files) and then moved to Galesburg, IL where I hosted an afternoon show on a Country station.
I'm really excited to be at KCMV and can't wait to get on the slopes and fine-tune my snowboarding skills. Oh- and play some PEARL JAM (Eddie Vedder is a HUGE Cubs fan too)
